This project is 86 condominium units in "mini-village" clusters of three to five located on a
desert site in Cave Creek. They represent a blend of territorial and Santa Fe architecture with
a contemporary overlay, taking full advantage of the lush Sonoran highland vegetation and looking
out on undisturbed desert. The units are sited to preserve natural vegetation and all plant material
disturbed by construction was moved and relocated on the site. The common courtyard entrances provide
a cool oasis in the desert and resemble a small
streetscape of a Mexican village or fortified Spanish town.
